My husband and I had been wanting to stay at The Evening Star for a number of years, but the stars hadn't aligned. When an opportunity came up for us to visit, we jumped at the chance. The wait was absolutely worth it! The property is simply breathtaking. The views are outstanding and the interior is completely luxurious, while maintaining an earthy and homely feeling. The amenities were excellent - the kitchen was completely stocked to cook, though there are plenty of great eating options close by. The bathroom is exquisite, so spacious and relaxing! We were greeted with welcome wine and nibbles, which was a lovely surprise - one of the many little touches which made us feel like valued guests. My favourite part of the stay was sitting out on the balcony or by the outdoor fire at night time, the stars magnificent. Judi and Chris were extremely helpful and so easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We can't wait for our next visit!

We had our honeymoon at the evening star in Bright and we loved every minute. This house has everything you need and the owners have thought of everything there's nothing missing it's actually perfect. It's In such a beautiful location surrounded by trees and mountains it doesn't get more relaxing. there's also loads of privacy and space. We loved the stars at night, the spa, sitting around the outside fire pit watching the sunset over the mountains, and the most comfy bed. I loved all the neutral colours in the house and think the owners have very good taste.. Thank you for an amazing stay we loved it.

We recently had a 2 night stay at The Evening Star and we Love, Love, Loved it….the location, the views, the furnishings, every mod con to ensure total comfort, the complimentary wine & breakfast hamper from fresh local produce, the sublime microsilk spa bath and the heavenly pure French flax linen bedding which was beautiful. There are great walks from just behind the property and the Wandiligong pub is just up the road and serves wholesome food; highly recommend the Chicken Parmigiana!!! We have been visiting and staying in Bright for the past 25 years for our quick getaways….but not anymore, from now on it will be Wandiligong.

Our week at The Evening Star was amazing. The property has been impeccably designed and is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and more. The owners thoughtful touches are everywhere, from high quality tea and coffee, a range of kitchen basics such as spices and oil, clear instructions for appliances and attention to all the little details that make a holiday enjoyable. The property was impeccably clean and beautifully presented. The owners provided helpful information ahead of time and multiple contact details if we had any problems during our stay. A wonderful place to stay - we'll be back!

I cannot begin to explain how beautiful this property and its surroundings are! You must come here at least once in your life. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though it rained for us almost every hour of every day we didn't miss out on the fun and beauty of the area. The renovations of the bathroom are magnificent and very luxurious. We loved the openness, light and view the Windows provided. The warmth and cosy smell of the fireplace. And The kitchen... Is exceptional. Fully stocked with the essentials and more! We highly recommend this lovely house! Don't hesitate! This place is everything you want and more.
